Ever thought of a Walking Club in your community? It is fun, social and good for your health! We know lots of people want to walk more, but many people won’t walk on their own. By having a walking club, people can walk as a group, interact and enjoy the getting fit all at the same time!
Heart&Stroke Walkabout™ will be offering several leader orientation sessions this Fall 2012! The goal of the Heart&Stroke Walkabout leader/ambassador orientation is to provide interested individuals with tools and knowledge to start/enhance a walking club in your community, workplace or school . Participants will receive a leader handbook, pedometer, inspiring activities, information on safety and group leadership, and a demonstration of our interactive website.
