Pedometer Lending

Thank you for engaging with our pedometer loan program over the past years as part of Heart&Stroke Walkabout.

Effective September 1st 2018, Heart & Stroke will no longer be implementing the Walkabout pedometer loan program. Although Walkabout is coming to an end, we remain committed to reducing risk factors, such as physical inactivity, related to heart disease and stroke.

For information on reducing your risk factors, please see our website and sign up for our newsletter. If you are interested in purchasing pedometers in the future, please refer to our long-standing partner, StepsCount’s website. To purchase your own pedometer, visit StepsCount and use the discount code: NSHeartPiezo.

Should you have any additional questions about the end of this program, please email [email protected].

Pedometers are a great tool to help you track your walking steps and monitor your progress each day.

Nova Scotians can borrow a pedometer from Heart&Stroke Walkabout, your local library[email protected] site or purchase their own pedometer from StepsCount.
