Pedometers are a great tool to help you track your walking steps and monitor your progress each day.
Nova Scotians can borrow a pedometer from Heart&Stroke Walkabout, your local library, [email protected] site or purchase their own pedometer from StepsCount.
To borrow a pedometer(s) from Heart&Stroke Walkabout, please complete the Walkabout Pedometer Loan Form and e-mail it back to [email protected]
At your local library, pedometers can be borrowed for three weeks with a valid library card. Pedometer kits are also available in French at select Francophone Libraries and [email protected] Sites across the province. Remember, some [email protected] sites are closed during the winter months, so it’s best to call ahead before you visit.
To purchase your own pedometer, visit StepsCount and use the discount code: NSHeartPiezo.
Heart&Stroke Walkabout thanks our partners: Nova Scotia Public Libraries, [email protected] Sites and StepsCount.
