History: Spanning 35 km from Martin’s River to East River, the Chester Connection Trail runs through the Acadia First Nation Gold River Community known as Amapapskegek, or the Rocky River. The Mi’kmaw have a long history in the area of using the resources within Gold River, and this beautiful trail features many traditional campsite locations across its expansive route.
